United Church of Canada

In partnership with Faith & the Common Good, we helped the United Church calculate a carbon baseline for its 3,000 faith buildings across Canada and set a carbon reduction target of 80% by 2050. We conducted a series of stakeholder outreach, pilot carbon reduction projects and research on leading carbon programs amongst faith organizations. Part of this exercise included understanding current funding opportunities both within the church and also external funding sources to help finance carbon reduction programs.
